This judge is no stranger to the SF Bear stage. It's none other than Mr. San Francisco Bear 2024, Manny Santos!
Manny Santo was born in El Salvador and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has a background education and music. Manny used these skills to raise money for the community as Royal Grand Duke of Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Even through Covid helped raise over $23k for community charities. He has always been a big Latino bear and was proud to represent his community in the Mr. SF Bear contest. Manny’s main focus during his time as Mr. SF Bear was to raise money and bring awareness for the importance of mental health services especially for the LGBTQ+ community. He continues to represent especially in Pride events around California.
One piece of advice he has for the contestants and community members is: A title may give you a platform, but it’s what you do with it that not only connects you your community but also creates a legacy worth celebrating. Respect, admiration and participation from the community is not automatically given; it must be earned.
Good luck to all the contestants, and remember, bears come in all types, shapes and sizes; black, brown, polar, grizzly, panda, and most importantly, gummy.

Honored to join this year‘s judges’ panel, please welcome Jesse. Though he never wants to be the loudest voice in the room, he definitely has plenty of opinions. Those close to him would tell you he always holds his heart higher than his head; and that’s what he hopes to bring as one of your judges this year. Because of his love for San Francisco, his chosen family, and this community, he humbly welcomes this opportunity as a moment to help decide another title holder to do us all proud.
Jesse is proud to be a high school teacher and head of the special ed department at his school site. Also worth mentioning, because of this he regrettably has to build significant walls of separation between his professional and personal lives; and as such would appreciate if you don’t tag him publicly in your posts—but he promises to love and like all of them with pride and joy.

Nunca Sola (she/they) is a Chicana leatherdyke, animal savior, and shameless queer based in Oakland, CA. She served as Ms. San Francisco Eagle Leather 2023, where she prioritized access, visibility, and joy as she fundraises for LGBTQ youth, disabled community members, and low-income pet guardians. Now a contest producer with the SF Eagle Contest Committee, she coordinates ASL interpretation, helped launch the bar’s first Bootblack contest, and judges across the country. She served as a judge for Mr. Third Coast Leather 2024 in Houston and will return as Head Judge for SF Bear 2026.
Honored as SF Pride’s 2024 Female Leather Marshal and featured in Kink Is (Unbound Edition Press), Nunca is also a longtime volunteer at Oakland’s Black Thorn dungeon and a proud member of the evolving Exiles, where she’s helped bridge dyke and queer leather legacy with the SF Eagle contest scene.
Outside the dungeon, she owns a queer-run dog daycare and training business, staffed by a dyke and a trans man, because she believes in queer labor, radical care, and spaces where all species are affirmed. She also serves on the board of a statewide pit bull rescue, advocating for the misunderstood and discarded.
Kinky to the core, Nunca is a Service Pet Alpha with a taste for chains, chanclas, raunch pig play, and raw, ritual filth. Her leather journey brought her closer to her Mexica heritage, reclaiming culture, connection, and community through language, lineage, and lust.
Through it all, one truth remains:
She is Nunca Sola—never alone.

Tagline: Chicana leatherdyke, dog whisperer, and your favorite filthy service-animal Handler.
